We had the pleasure to talk during the opening day live with Al-Jazeera.
Alaabi’s educational toys are created to help children love their mother tongue, be proud talking in Arabic and linked to their roots and their country of origin.
Alaabi is aimed at children aged 2 years+. They are inspired by the Montessori approach to make sure kids at this very young age aren’t spending time on screens, which shouldn’t exceed 20min.
Alaabi helps children to acquire manual, sensory, visual and language skills while using one of our best seller toy the "Arabicubes". These cubes also support teachers in language schools providing a modern approach to teaching Arabic.
Alaabi's Arabicubes took a lot of time before it saw the light. From checking the type of wood and the perfect size for small hands, to the printing process etc. It is all handmade. Alaabi’s products are a joined effort between teachers, special needs teachers and us to make sure we provide the best product that answers educational needs whether in the classroom or at home.
Alaabi's participation in TEDinArabic through Qatar Foundation's invitation, is very important as it emphasises on the younger generation who will be talking Arabic in the future. Our legacy to them is critical at this stage.
