Celebrating International Literacy Day with Assabil and Alaabi

On International Literacy Day, communities around the world come together to promote and celebrate the importance of literacy. This year, Assabil (at the national library of Beirut), a renowned organization dedicated to promoting reading in Lebanon, hosted a special event that left both kids and parents beaming with joy.

At the heart of this event was Alaabi, a passionate advocate for Arabic literacy. Alaabi conducted an engaging workshop using innovative tools: #Arabicubes and #Vokalimat. These educational resources are designed to make learning #Arabic fun and interactive for children.

The workshop with Assabil was a resounding success, capturing the attention and imagination of all participants. It was heartwarming to see the kids confidently expressing themselves in Arabic with the support of their parents.

The event not only celebrated International Literacy Day but also highlighted the power of community collaboration. By bringing together passionate educators like Alaabi and organizations like Assabil, we can create lasting impact and inspire a love for reading in young minds.

As we reflect on this memorable day, let us remember that literacy is not just about acquiring basic reading skills. It is about fostering a lifelong love for learning, empowering individuals, and building stronger communities.
