What a delightful talk we had with Dr. Riham @tutatuta.childrenbooksinarabic during International Mother Language Day.
We have also launched the new dialect cards extensions for the boardgame Vokalimat in Arabic!! WOOO HOOO 🙌🥳

كان حوارا شيقا مع د. رهام من توتة توتة بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للغة الام وقرب صدور أوراق لعبة «فوكلمات» باللهجات المحكية/العاميات.
تمحور الحديث حول:
- ما هو التعريف الصحيح للغة الام.
- ما هو "التعليم القائم على اللغة الام" الذي يناشد به البنك الدولي وغيره
- ما هي "فجوة المفردات" التي تؤثر على مستقبل الطفل في التعلّم
- دور القراءة واللعب باللهجات المحكية في تعزيز اللغة ونمو الطفل.
