She is the founder & Managing Director of Kalamna CIC, is an experienced Arabic as a foreign language teacher and teacher trainer with a PhD in Arabic Studies and MA by Research in teaching Arabic as a foreign language, from Leeds University, UK. Saussan also teaches Arabic at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Cambridge University, UK.
